How Chimney Repair Service Requests Work
One call or form gives an available third-party provider the information it needs to decide whether it covers the address, handles the chimney and repair type, and can offer an inspection or written scope.
We are not the contractor. This page exists so there is no ambiguity about who does what between your first call and a signed scope of work.
1. You describe the property and the problem
Give the city, property type, what you are seeing, when it started, what the chimney serves, and whether anyone has already inspected or quoted it. You do not need a diagnosis — the services overview helps you describe the symptom in the right terms.
2. The request is shared with a provider
The provider decides whether it covers the address and handles the property, appliance, fuel, access, and repair type. It confirms those points; this site does not promise them on the provider’s behalf. Allen County requires contractors and subcontractors to be licensed in the county — asking for that license information is reasonable and normal.
3. The provider inspects and defines the scope
Before you authorize work, the provider should identify what it observed, what will be repaired, materials, quantity or area, access, permit responsibility, exclusions, cleanup, timing, pricing, and terms — in writing.
When will timing be confirmed?
After the provider understands the inspection need, repair scope, access, materials, approvals, weather, and curing conditions. This site does not publish an arrival window or completion promise before the provider has those facts.
Who is responsible for what
- This website: publishes information, receives your call or form, shares the request, and corrects factual errors.
- The provider: confirms coverage and capability, inspects, defines and prices the scope, holds the applicable licensing and insurance, handles permits it agrees to handle, and performs the work.
- You: describe the condition accurately, share any reports or photos, read the written scope, and authorize — or decline — the work.
Who publishes this site, and how it may be paid, is documented on the about page. Ready now? Use the request page or call.
